Include some basic clip-art and text effects for those that are truly new to Flash concepts like time lines.

For animators and graphics designers that have been in the field for a while the ideas and concepts of time lines and animation tweening are standard, however for the target audience of users for this product they're the ones that don't want to...

improve the help system

The current help system is simply a webpage with no search. Although the contents are quite good it would be better to integrate into the program using the standard help system. You could then add search, and allow people to access the help...

Quick start would be much easier as a video showing the screen of the program while you create an animation.

Create a stand alone help file. If I were to have dial up, I would play heck trying to go back and forth to the net

When you click help it takes you to the net. As I said if I have dial up, I wouldn't want that to happen. I would want my help file on the hard drive. Just make it a stand alone program.

Fix the onion skinning (When I turn it on, it causes my computer to slow down/hang)

Turning on onion skinning makes the program unresponsive. After two minutes, I grew impatient and turned it off and that immediately corrected it and made it responsive again. Not sure if it would have eventually resolved on its own.

Remember the size and position of the Effects window

Whenever the Effects window pops up in this version, it's always maximized. Even after I click the "Restore Down" icon to make the Effects window resizeable and then click OK, the next time I open it it's maximized again. And if I resize and move...

make the play automatically rewind

It's annoying to have to press rewind every time you reach the end on the animation, it would be better to replay from the start it you hit play at this point.

Maybe better options for coders.

The website sais only AS2. I personally use AS2 but many coders use AS3. This would be a great option if you don't want to use the Adobe program.

Make the shape tweening UI like Flash CS5.

In Flash CS5 the different tweening options are all grouped together (e.g. when you right-click on a frame in the timeline). Having that expectation, I found this to be a little counterintuitive, and adding a shape tween took a little digging....
